Tanner Dru Balbach, 28

| May 12, 2018 4:00 AM

Tanner Dru Balbach, 28, passed away on May 2, 2018, in Marion. Tanner was born on Sept, 26, 1989, in Livingston.

Tanner was an avid outdoorsman; he lived for hunting. If you couldn’t get a hold of Tanner you knew you could find him in the mountains. He lived as far away from town as possible. He was working as a logger and finishing a home for his family.

Tanner excelled at wrestling, taking state and going undefeated. Tanner was a kind, generous and loving man. He had many friends from all over the state of Montana, where he was born and raised.

Tanner was the oldest of five younger siblings, whom he loved with all his heart. There is nothing he wouldn’t do for them.

In 2014 Tanner met Jessica Culver. They fell in love and in December of 2017 their daughter Olive Ann Mae was born. Olive was the best thing that ever happened to Tanner, the light of his life. He was a proud father! It is a sad loss that Tanner passed at such a young age.

Tanner is survived by his father Rich Balbach, his mother Lori (Joe) Wagar, his grandmother Penny Balbach (Papa Larry), girlfriend Jessica Culver, daughter Olive Balbach, sister Shae Balbach (Royce), sister Taylor Turney (Conar), sister Aspen Balbach (James), brother Baron Wagar, brother Rylan Dennis, nephews Reid and Kroy, niece Breella and soon-to-arrive niece Reese; and brothers for life, Seth Anderson and Hunter Meier. Tanner had many aunts, uncles, cousins and good friends for life! You will be missed by all.

“I’m a country boy, Yee-Hee!”
