Bigfork girls, Eureka boys lead Western B divisional track

FRENCHTOWN — The Bigfork girls won all the running events to pile up a 66-point team total and a comfortable lead after first-day action at the Western B divisional track meet on Thursday.

Bryn Morley won the 400 (1:00.23) while Anya Young doubled up with firsts in the 800 (2:27.17) and 3,200 (no time listed).

Bigfork also won the 400 relay (50.63).

Deer Lodge, 41, is second and Eureka, 36, third.

The Eureka boys won two of the six finals held, with Alex Lowe first in the 1,600 (4:49.43) and Chet McCully winning the pole vault (13-0).

Eureka has 48 points with Missoula Loyola, 33, second, and Deer Lodge, 30, third.
