Lakers B trip Loggers A

LIBBY — Jack Corriveau doubled twice, singled and drove in three runs to help the Kalispell Lakers B down the Libby Loggers A 12-7 on Wednesday evening in American Legion baseball play.

Danny Hernan, 1 for 4, also drove in three runs for the Lakers.

Kalispell finished with as many hits as runs scored. Nine players had hits for Kalispell.

Garrett Gollohon tripled three times and had two RBIs to power the Loggers.

Ethan Diede pitched six innings for the Lakers to earn the win. He struck out eight, walked three and allowed six hits.

Libby had eight errors in the contest.

The Loggers will look to bounce back tonight hosting the Glacier Twins B at 6:05.

The Lakers B return to action June 5 at the Glacier Twins B.
