Charles 'Chuck' William Roberts, 69

| November 2, 2018 4:00 AM

A great man, Charles “Chuck” William Roberts, 69, passed away the morning of Oct. 25, 2018, in Billings.

Chuck was born Dec. 8, 1948, to Charles “Bob” and Jeannette Roberts in Baker. Chuck had lived many places throughout his life, and moved to Worden just five years ago.

Chuck was a hard-working and talented man.

He had been in construction for almost 50 years, then moved into sales of building materials for a short time before retiring about one year ago. He had been working at the Worden school and construction-related side jobs to keep busy.

Hunting, fishing, reading and horses were among Chuck’s favorite hobbies.

His passion, however, was his family. He always had a shoulder to lean on, listened and offered words of wisdom when you needed it. He would light up any room he walked into and loved talk to any and every one.

Chuck was preceded in death by both of his parents, Bob and Jeannette Roberts, brothers Eddie Roberts and Jim Roberts, and daughter Diana Faye Roberts.

He is survived by love of his life Linda Farnes, sister Ann Roberts, brother Tom Roberts, son Brad (Kerry) Roberts, daughter Shelly (Matt) Thiem, granddaughters Samantha, Kellie, Camden and Adison, and many other family and friends that love and will miss him.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 1, at Smith Funeral Chapels, 925 South 27th Street Billings. Condolences can be shared with the family at www.smithfuneralchapels.com.

Chuck was an amazing partner, lover, father, grandfather, uncle, friend, everything — he will be missed more than words can say.
