Panhandling grinds driver's gears
Someone wanted to sign a complaint against “the homeless person who was begging for money,” and walked into an intersection to collect it. The scornful person told Kalispell Police Department that in “Los Angeles it’s illegal to be homeless. It’s illegal to beg for money and it should be illegal here as well.”
A hotel employee was concerned when a guest allegedly left a child under 10 years old, and three dogs, in a room for hours. The employee contacted the parents who kept making excuses as why they weren’t back and purportedly were out getting money to pay for the room.
A woman who was in the lobby of Flathead County Sheriff’s Department said she would go over to Kalispell Police Department to report someone who was allegedly following her, yelling obscenities and threatening her and her husband’s life, stating the person was probably killing her husband right now. She never showed up.
Someone thought a man may have shoplifted when he reportedly set a package underneath a car in a parking lot. The person claimed they saw the package, which was a brand new Maglite not in a shopping bag. The man then picked the item up and got into a minivan with a woman and left.
An intoxicated man outside a casino refused help when someone asked if he was OK then proceeded to cross a highway.
A man with black hair wearing a long suede coat was reportedly walking door-to-door asking for money stating he needed to get somewhere. One resident told the man she didn’t have any cash and he tried to argue with her before moving on to the next house.
Someone told police there was a lot of drug activity in the area and requested extra patrol. The person said it was occurring every 5-10 minutes and was an ongoing issue.
A fight broke out when employees were trying to kick someone out of an establishment.
A woman found herself sitting outside of a church and didn’t know where she was. She allegedly said she couldn’t move her leg, thought she was malnourished and “shot something up” three hours ago, but didn’t know what it was.
