Sisters told to act like adults

Two sisters reportedly got into an argument, which ended with one sister locking the other out of the house. The sister who couldn’t get in reportedly called the police asking for assistance in getting her sister to come to the door. Officers responded and settled the dispute but advised both sisters to “act like adults.”

Two golden retrievers and one black retriever were reportedly found running loose on Timber Ridge Center and transported to the county shelter.

A woman reported a vicious dog on Shady Lane for allegedly attacking her 5-year-old daughter and her dog. The vicious dog allegedly knocked the little girl down, causing a bump on her head, and got into a fight with their dog.

A delivery driver reportedly found a package full of $100 bills while out delivering in a trailer park and turned it over to police.

A woman reportedly caught another woman attempting to steal an antenna off her vehicle. The car owner allegedly scared the suspect, who fled, but not before the woman grabbed her purse and car keys away from her. The car owner turned the purse and keys over to police for the suspect’s car to be towed, since she also reportedly left that at the scene as well.

Two large fluffy dogs were reportedly found and taken to the county shelter after one was treated for an injury at the local pet emergency center.

A man called the police on a dog he claimed was attempting to break into his house. The man said the golden retriever repeatedly came to his door, wanting to be let in and had barked and growled at him before. The man threatened to shoot the dog if it continued trespassing. Officers advised the man not to shoot the dog.

A resident of Franlou Park Lane called the Columbia Falls Police to report someone for taking up two parking spots in front of their house.

Suspected drug activity was reported on 10th Avenue. The reporting party claimed the residence where said activity was taking place had a small dog that they weren’t sure wasn’t vicious.
