Devin’s spirit lives on in his family and friends. He wrote beautiful songs and played guitar with passion. Devin had many struggles in life, but he always loved and forgave.
Devin is survived by his mom Dusty Dziza, stepdad Gene Dziza, brother Dillan, sisters Natasha and Sienna, grandpa Mike, uncles Cliff and Brodie, aunt Nikki, niece Vivian, nephew Warren, cousins Shadow, Dawson, Alex, Hunter, and Charlene and many other loving family members and friends. We miss him so much.
Loving, compassionate, creative and adventurous with a very strong moral compass accurately describes Devin. He believed in a unified and conscious world where every thought and action affects the energy of all humanity. Devin had a heart for helping people and a beautiful vision of building communities that work together to support each other. His vision included cooperative farming, talent sharing, neighborhood support, and neuro-hacking, all in order to connect and heal people. He was a sensitive man with a grand vision for world change that begins inside each of us and our communities, Devin believed that real healing begins with soul nutrition.
Our family learned so much about love from him. He taught us to stop and talk to people in need, both homeless and hopeless. To look people in the eye, feel their heart, and spend time in conversation, all the while radiating love in hopes of promoting healing in moments of connection.
Devin’s dream was also to create and produce a nutritional energy bar and use the profits to distribute those bars to homeless people. His website, Creative Soul Nutrition, is in its beginning stages. The purpose is to provide resources for anyone in need. Visit www.creativesoulnutrition.com.
Devin loved Jesus. Most of his journals included notes to Jesus asking for healing, even calling him his first true love.
Here’s a quote from one of Devin’s songs: “Boys and girls, create something sweet, I love you more than anything.”
In loving memory of Devin Anthony Jacob Hines, human. We love and miss you!
On July 13, 2019, a party will be held at Devin’s family home in honor and celebration of his life. The theme of the party is love!
