Edward John Kelly, 74

Edward John Kelly, 74, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018, in Kalispell.

Edward was born on Nov. 19, 1943, in Dayton, Ohio, to John and Helen (Kessler) Kelly. Ed was raised and attended School in Springfield, Ohio, graduating from Catholic Central High School, he then went on to get his Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.

On September of 1965 he married Barbara (Laihr) Kelly.

Ed was a game warden for the State of Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks service where he retired as a captain. He loved being in the outdoors and sharing Montana wilderness with his family.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Tim Kelly.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Barbara; sons, Thomas and (Kristen) Kelly of Pacifica, California, and Beau and (Anna - Mariah) Kelly of Fairbanks, Alaska; brother, Dennis Kelly, of Springfield, Ohio; and grandchildren, Faith, Amelia and Rosemarie Kelly.

Cremation has taken place and services are pending at this time.
