The Flathead Bravettes knocked off the Missoula Sentinel Spartans 25-17, 25-9, 25-14 in its final home volleyball match of the regular season in Western AA play Tuesday.

Flathead improves to 17-11 overall and 8-3 in conference. The Spartans fall to 12-13 and 3-8.

“We had a really good match tonight,” Flathead coach Nicole Fairclough said. “We talked a lot this week in preparation for Sentinel and came in with a game plan and we executed it really well. It’s really an exciting win too, because it was our senior night so all five of our seniors had great games and played really well as well as our underclassmen. But for senior night, for all of them, they did a really nice job.”

Flathead’s seniors had a spectacular night. At the net, Taylor Henley had 14 kills and four blocks. Madde Boles recorded 13 kills and Sierra Wilhelm had 29 of Flathead’s 32 set assists.

For Sentinel, Alexis Umland had 11 kills and Jenna Swanson had 21 set assists

The Bravettes will take on Hellgate in Missoula on Saturday at 1 p.m. in one last tuneup before playoffs.

This was the final home match of the season for Glacier (8-17, 3-8).
