Did the cow jump over the moon?

“Hey diddle, diddle,” the cow recently returned to the intersection at the Blue Moon. There was no word of how it fared in its attempt to complete the leap.

A person called about a very pungent chemical odor from a neighbor’s residence. The caller was informed the neighbor has a permit to apply finish to cabinents.

A son called to report he believed his father poisoned his mother. It was determined the accusation wasn’t true.

Another caller said a neighbor continued to harass him by driving past his residence and revving his engine, which had the man “all worked up.” An officer spoke with both people and they agreed to stop the harassment.

An elderly woman reported a scam attempt that involved her grandson suffered a broken nose and needed money for help. When she told the caller she didn’t have any money, he hung up.

A person said someone painted the word “War” on a stop sign on 3rd Ave.

A motorist said there were several women pushing a disabled car on the road across from an auto parts supply store. The ladies did get the car off the road and a tow truck was on the way.
