City Beach not an option for boat storage

A man called dispatch in Whitefish to ask if he could store a boat he just bought in the Whitefish City Beach parking lot for the winter. After buying the boat, he realized he couldn’t afford a storage unit. A dispatcher told him it was unlikely he could park his boat in the lot.

A man called the Kalispell Police Department to report his vehicle was missing. He believed someone entered his residence and took his keys while he was sleeping. He called back an hour later and said he forgot he loaned his car to a friend.

A caller said a loaded .30-06 rifle accidentally went off when it was taken out of a vehicle. The bullet ended up in the ground and no one was hurt.

A man was cited for panhandling after he was seen screaming and cursing at vehicles near a local grocery store. He reportedly had a large stick, too.

A woman stopped in at the police station to determine if the guns she was trying to buy were clear for her to purchase.
