Daniel Neil Russell, 80

Daniel Neil Russell passed away Aug. 31, 2018, at the age of 80.

Dan was born in Jamestown, New York, to George and June Russell. He had a brother Eugene, and a younger sister Susan.

In 1961, Dan enlisted in the U.S. Army where he served his country as a marksman and expert rifleman. Dan was honorably discharged in 1963 and, shortly after, he met and married his wife, Magdalena. Together with her daughter Jody from a previous marriage, they drove to the West Coast and eventually settled in Montana where Dan found work at the Columbia Falls Aluminum plant.

Dan enjoyed listening to music, fishing, hunting and all of the outdoor activities that Montana had to offer.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Eugene, and his wife Magdalena.

There are no services planned, as per Dan’s wishes.
