Handgun allegedly brandished in road rage confrontation

A caller reported that a man allegedly brandished a handgun during a road rage incident on U.S. 2. She said when she tried to pass him, he sped up. The man was described as wearing a bandana and sunglasses and driving a white Ford pickup.

Someone who was frantically looking for her missing St. Bernard called the Columbia Falls Police Department. The dog was later found at the county animal shelter.

A man who was the victim of a recent burglary wanted officers to return to look at footprints in his home that he believes belong to the suspects.

A man called to complain that his estranged wife took off with their two young children. An officer tried to contact the woman, but it went to voicemail, which was full.

A woman said she saw someone at a trailer on her adjacent property that didn’t belong there. She said she has had trouble with squatters in the past. An officer didn’t find anyone.
