Woman wrangles pack of Bernards

Someone called the Columbia Falls Police Department to report a gang of four St. Bernards roaming 7th Avenue. The caller did collect two of the super-sized canines, but the other two were last seen near the bridge.

After a person who picked up a lethargic and malnourished cat asked police what she should do with it.

A man’s daughter called the Kalispell Police Department to report that another man was trying to cash a check on one of her father’s closed accounts.

A caller reported a nude woman standing next to a vehicle. The caller said she was smoking and snorting with a bald man. The caller also said the woman talked about getting out of prison and getting HIV shots. When an officer investigated, it was determined the report was false.

A woman called to report a burglary. She said jewelry missing as well as a solar panel. She said her home is normally locked.

A fish-finder and gas cans were stolen from a boat.

A caller reported that someone stole his prescription sunglasses from his car. The glasses were valued at $199.98. He wanted to make a report for insurance purposes.

A man said someone stole his .44 Magnum Ruger Blackhawk and the keys to his truck and van from a vehicle in his shop. The gun wasn’t loaded and was inside a leather holster.
