Blankets inquiry met with a stomp

A man reported to the Kalispell Police Department that he was on the receiving end of some rather rough treatment when he approached a woman on the streets of Kalispell. He said she was rude to him and stomped on his foot when he sought her interest in one of the blankets he was selling.

An older person called to alert the police that a man speaking about environmental changes and carbon dioxide would be doing so that evening if they were interested in attending.

A man reported being kicked in the ribs and punched in the back of the head by another man who wore a blue shirt and shorts. An officer was unable to locate the suspect.

A caller reported a group of high school age people who had smoked marijuana in an alley across from her apartment building.

A man reported that bikes belonging to his son and a friend were both stolen from in front of a residence. One was a green BMX bike and the other was gray and red Mongoose.

A woman claimed her daughter struck her repeatedly before leaving home.

A man who had lived with another man’s ex-wife said the jilted lover showed up at his residence and banged on the door. The man reportedly had made verbal threats in the past, but this was the first time he came to the residence.

A woman reported two neighbors had been arguing for a few hours and it made her concerned for the safety of other people living in the area. She then heard a loud crash and everything went silent. When an officer investigated he learned the loud sound was a door being slammed shut. None of the arguing parties were injured.
