Teenage knaveries suspected around town

About 20 15-year-olds, who were not hotel guests, were supposedly causing “a ruckus” in a hotel, running up and down the halls and getting in the way of customers according to an employee reporting the antics to Kalispell Police Department.

A woman sitting in her vehicle reported a 14-year-old was calling his grandmother profanities and thought it could get physical. Police counseled the teen, his mother and grandmother.

About five to six youths were reportedly throwing rocks at someone’s window and yelling.

Someone just thought it was strange that four to five people were running in a court with flashlights. Police checked the area and everything was quiet.

Criminal mischief may have been underway when someone’s husband heard a noise downstairs and purportedly found a ball bearing that looked like glass and had gone through their front storm door.

A man was sitting in a truck drinking beer.

Someone refused service to an intoxicated customer who then refused to leave.

Someone wanted an officer to clarify whether or not he could park his vehicle on the curb in front of his house. He alleged a “parking unit” for a building of businesses on U.S. 2 told him he could no longer park there because it was private property.

A store customer said a man wearing a black bomber jacket and carrying a sleeping bag was standing outside harassing customers. The man reportedly attempted to grab them and then got into woman’s face before trying to grab her. Another person called in to report seeing the man blocking women from entering the store and thought he may be intoxicated. Grabby hands was cited and released.

A bearded man wearing a black hoodie and backpack was counseled on his behavior when he was reported running around and yelling gibberish.

A distraught, crying woman told police a man was “choking her out.”

Someone thought it was suspicious when a black car with no hood and a loud muffler supposedly drove through an alley and their house about four times.

A man wearing a torn gray T-shirt reportedly dragged a woman out of a truck by her hair.

A man who reported a missing wallet called back to say he found the wallet that allegedly was hidden in a cupboard by a 2-year-old.
