Flathead rules dual with Whitefish

The Flathead girls won all 10 events on the track and placed first in four field events while the Flathead boys won nine events overall in a dual track and field meet at Legends Stadium on Tuesday with Whitefish.

It was the season opener for both schools.

Double winners in individual events were Flathead’s Skyleigh Thompson, 100 and 300 hurdles, and Chance Sheldon-Allen, 200 and long jump, and Whitefish’s Erin Wilde, high jump and long jump.

No team totals were kept.

Flathead is back in action Friday at 3 p.m. at Legends Stadium versus Great Falls C.M. Russell.

Whitefish travels to Frenchtown on Saturday for an invitational.
