Latitude: 48.28356°, Longitude: -114.27033° Flathead County APPLICANT INFORMATION APPLICANT: Glacier National Park FACILITY NAME: Many Glacier Wastewater Treatment Plant FACILITY LOCATION: The Many Glacier Wastewater Treatment Plant is located on the east side of Glacier National Park about one mile east of Many Glacier Hotel. It is situated on the Apikuni Flats between Many Glacier Road and Lake Sherburne. RECEIVING WATER: Outfall 001 - Class I Ground Water PERMIT NUMBER: MTX000221 A determination has been made by DEQ to reissue the existing Montana Ground Water Pollution Control System (MGWPCS) permit, MTX000221, to Glacier National Park for the existing Many Glacier Wastewater Treatment Plant. This permitting action reauthorizes discharge of treated wastewater to ground water. The scope of this permitting action is for the operation, and maintenance of the existing wastewater treatment and disposal system. No major modifications have been proposed within this permitting action. The facility is a single-cell aerated lagoon with ultraviolet disinfection that receives domestic sewage from the Many Glacier Hotel, The Swiftcurrent Inn, National Park Service Housing Area, and the nearby camping and recreational vehicle areas. The facility operates on a seasonal basis from May until October. The treated wastewater is disposed of by four infiltration/percolation (IP) ponds. Outfall 001: Section 12, Township 35 North, Range 16 West; Latitude: 48.80155°, Longitude: -113.64584° Glacier County The permittee operates a ground water monitoring network composed of seven monitoring wells in and around the facility area. No. 26116 INVITATION TO BID Bids for the Whitefish High School Roofing and Mechanical Renovation will be received at the Whitefish School District, District Office Board Room, 600 East 2nd Street, Whitefish, MT until 2:00 p.m. local time, Thursday, April 25th. Scopes of work to be bid are as follows: Thermal Insulation, Membrane and Metal Roofing, Metal Stud Framing, Gypsum Board Assemblies, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, and Site Concrete. Digital copies of the contract documents will be available on April 10, 2019 from LPW Architects, and statewide at the builders exchanges. All bids must include appropriate taxes (Gross Receipts Tax), permits specific to their scope and wage rates. The current wage rates for the project are included in the construction specifications. This project consists of re-roofing a portion of the high school, mechanical upgrades, and minor sidewalk construction. Although not required, bidders are strongly encouraged to attend a pre-bid conference and site walk-through at 2 pm on Thursday, April 18, 2019.
