Armed robbery suspects taken into custody
Three women were taken into custody on allegations that they stole someone’s wallet at knife point while in Polson, according to Kalispell Police Department logs. The victim called in the incident and said the suspects were traveling north in a white car with a sunroof plugged with plywood. Lake County deputies looked at security footage from Woods Bay showing the vehicle traveling north. Law enforcement eventually stopped the vehicle south of the U.S. 93 bypass and the suspects were arrested.
A woman said her fiancé was being chased by three guys on roller blades. She thought the skater gang might be high on drugs.
People were treating a city park like a dog park, a caller told police. Dogs were running loose and their owners weren’t cleaning up after their wily canines.
Back-up was requested by someone evicting a tenant. They didn’t think it would go so well.
A father and daughter were in a dispute in a South Kalispell parking lot. When witnesses told the dad to let the girl go, he allegedly said that since she was his daughter “he could do whatever the [expletive] he wanted.” The girl was later reunited with her mom.
Bullets and a magazine were found in a caller’s yard.
A driver was seen smoking something using a blowtorch.
A Nissan Maxima was reported stolen. The vehicle was left unlocked with the keys inside.
A caller reported a horse that was left at the fairgrounds for three days without food or water. The state brand inspector was called.
A woman allegedly attempted to steal an entire shopping cart full of items. The store declined to press charges, but the woman was 86’d from the property.
