Police get scoop on ice cream thief
A food delivery service told Flathead County Sheriff’s Office a man reportedly stole a 1-gallon tub of chocolate or vanilla ice cream on First Avenue in Martin City. The ice cream was valued at $10.99.
A woman on Montana 35 in Bigfork reportedly told officers that a man threw a drink at her and the liquid irritated her cornea.
A facility manager allegedly told officers a hatchet had been used to cut through a fiber cable to a river gauge detection monitoring station.
Someone on Mountain Drive in Hungry Horse allegedly located a man who hit his friend over the head with a rock.
Someone reportedly threw a cup out the window of a vehicle seen driving recklessly on U.S. 93 South in Kalispell. The vehicle then pulled up next to another car and the driver flipped a man off.
Someone claiming to be with Glacier Airport Fire told deputies they received a report of a squatter at one of their training houses off of Trumble Creek Road. They called back to report no one was found when they checked the location.
Metal sheets with screws sticking out were seen lying on the ground on U.S. 2 in Kalispell. Apparently the metal sheets were left by construction crews and were supposed to be there.
