Woman feels entitled to drugs

Kalispell Police Department responded to a report of a woman who allegedly was yelling and screaming that “everyone needs to buy her drugs.”

A man thought he heard his neighbor shoot someone after he allegedly heard two men arguing, a gunshot and then supposedly saw a muzzle flash possibly in the Third Avenue East area. Police searched the area and were unable to locate a shell casing or bullet hole in the area where the man reported the argument taking place.

A woman told officers there was what appeared to be a homeless camp in a field because there was reportedly a tent there one night and lots of trash was accumulating. She requested extra patrol throughout the evening to purportedly “catch the homeless,” and move them along.

A woman told police that she was reportedly having problems with the breaker box at her house being flipped. On top of that, she allegedly had water in her gas tank on a different day that week, then last month “pins” were removed from her vehicle and the tires were flat, and last year, a teen stole cigarettes out of her vehicle when it was unlocked. She wasn’t certain if the teen was the culprit of the alleged criminal mischief because “she wanted him to have consequences”.

A man told police his wife’s “deranged and narcissistic sister has come to town.” He and his wife were allegedly concerned the sister would call law enforcement “regarding him abusing his wife,” and that in the past, the sister had purportedly gotten him and his wife arrested.

A woman reportedly pepper sprayed a dog on the loose and someone’s friend on Sunrise Terrace in Bigfork while a second dog remained at large. The person calling in the report to Flathead County Sheriff’s Office believed she “deliberately sprayed” their friend, who allegedly went to the hospital.

The dog drama continued when a call came in from Church Street in Bigfork from a woman who was allegedly responsible for the pepper spraying. The woman reportedly said the two dogs “sometimes join up with other dogs and run the neighborhood,” and was concerned about dogs let loose in the neighborhood, which was “causing situations like what happened today.” An officer called the woman who claimed she heard the dogs barking aggressively at her neighbor in their driveway and went out and sprayed the dogs. She claimed the dogs had been running at large for more than a month “and people are tired of it.” She was told to call law enforcement if the dogs were out again and the county ordinance was explained to the dog owner.

A woman calling from Cottonwood Drive in Kalispell reported a transient on her property and claimed officers made contact with him twice before — and twice before he was going to pack up and move on — but he didn’t.

Someone broke into a house on U.S. 2 in Kalispell and allegedly stole TVs and an air conditioner out of a window.

An employee on U.S. 2 in Kalispell believed they found drug paraphernalia in a pair of donated jeans when they allegedly retrieved a lighter, plastic tube and tin foil from a pocket.

A pedestrian told officers a public transportation van reportedly did not stop at a stop sign, crosswalk or railroad tracks on on Meridian Road in Kalispell. The pedestrian claimed they were trying to cross through the street and the bus did not stop and “rolled through the intersection.”

A woman calling from Kalispell said a man reportedly got defensive when she asked him to dress children he supposedly was letting run around a beach naked. He then gave them towels to cover up and left.
