| August 30, 2019 4:00 AM

Diane Carver Anderson passed away peacefully on Aug. 27, 2019, at her home in Minneapolis.

She was born Sept. 26, 1950, in Butte to John L “Jack” and LeEtta “Lee” (Harper) Carver.

Diane is preceded in death by her parents, her in-laws Howard and Marion Anderson and her twin brothers Richard and Robert Carver.

She is survived by her husband Howard, sister Barbara, brother Timothy and her cousins and friends.

Diane “Ding” grew up in Kalispell. She graduated from Flathead High School in 1968.

In 1977 she headed to Minneapolis to attend the broadcast school Brown Institute. In 1979 she met the love of her life, Howard Anderson, who hired her for a job at KSTP TV station. They were married on June 26, 1982.

She worked for KSTP for 30 years, as a camera operator and then in master control.

She was an avid Minnesota Twins baseball fan, and as a season ticket holder went to all the home games. Diane and Howard spent the winters in her “happy place,” the Florida Keys. She loved Montana and came “home” for a few weeks each summer to enjoy the fresh air, swim and fly fish.

A memorial will be held at a later date in Minneapolis.

Miss you, love you, wish you were here.
