Argument turns into slapping and kicking

A woman allegedly told Kalispell Police Department a verbal disturbance reportedly involving her ex — and drinking — turned physical with slapping and kicking. Both parties supposedly continued arguing and denied medical assistance.

Store security was suspicious of a man who asked if he left his bicycle there the previous day. When they went outside to check if he was still hanging around, they supposedly caught him taking a bicycle off a bike rack and didn’t believe it belonged to him, then rode away.

Someone called in to report “some strange activity going on” in the neighborhood when they saw a white van parked in front of a residence that had all its doors open and a person was going back and forth from it and the garage. It was possible that the suspicious person may have been in the process of moving out after.

A man was reportedly found sleeping “in” a stairwell after he had been knocking on doors asking for money and wouldn’t leave when asked.

A bartender called to report a man who had been told to move along and not return, but purportedly kept coming back. The bartender reportedly received second-hand information that he kept trying to swing at a woman.

A man was reportedly banging on the window of a drive-thru and yelling an someone thought he may be trying to break into the building.

Someone requested officers patrol the area after a man reportedly came to the front desk of a hotel asking for a large garbage bag and then pulled a knife out of his pocket and put it into his belt while heading out the back door to a parking lot where he joined two other individuals. Apparently, they were repacking for the trip home.
