Man stores pocketknife outside his pocket

The Kalispell Police Department got a call when a man was seen putting a stolen pocketknife down the front of his pants in a store. He apparently stole movies as well and made a fraudulent return for $52. The person who reported him kept track as he moved through the store’s hardware department, then the automotive section, then the electronics section and finally the “household chemicals department.”

A homeowner called to report a small silver car that apparently blocks her driveway every day. The police advised her to get the license plate number so they could follow up.

A woman turned into a bank parking lot and apparently ran into a man. The man was “acting strangely” and the situation developed into a verbal disagreement before law enforcement arrived.

A man called the police with questions about removing someone from his house. He said he asked the person to leave but the unwelcome visitor had not listened.

An employee in Columbia Falls reported a man to the Columbia Falls Police Department for “talking to himself and creeping out other customers.” He didn’t want the supposedly creepy man to be removed from the place, but he wanted law enforcement to walk through the area. An officer checked it out and determined everything was fine.

A man apparently came into a woman’s living room “in an aggressive mood,” and she told him he “had no right to do so.” She didn’t want the police to do anything about it but she wanted the incident documented.

Someone called the police with questions about children riding in floats for the Night of Lights parade.

A man left his gun at his ex-fiancé’s house and later discovered it was missing.

Two dogs apparently got into a fight and one dog emerged with some of its fur missing. One dog owner claimed she had to beat one of the dogs with a rake “to get them free.”

Someone accidentally called 911 while attempting to set up a smart watch in a store.

Two delivery items were stolen from a residence Colorado Avenue in Columbia Falls.

Someone complained for the second time about her neighbor who allegedly “smokes a lot pot.” She didn’t know which apartment unit the marijuana smoker could be found in, but she reported the smoke was coming in through her vents. She was advised to speak with her homeowner’s association about the ongoing issue.
