Bucks gone wild give woman a fright

Whitefish Police Department received a call from a woman on Second Street who thought she saw someone in the window, so her husband ran outside but there was no one there. She reportedly also heard someone banging or throwing things at their door. Turns out, it may have been two bucks fighting in the yard causing the suspicious occurrences.

A car on Pine Avenue reportedly passed a bus while its red lights were flashing and kids were ready to cross.

A protester on Spokane Avenue allegedly stuck a sign into grass on a business property.

Extra patrol was requested on Birch Point Drive when a man with a can in his hand reportedly drove around and pulled up to a residence, got out, rang the doorbell and went back to his car.

A woman reportedly left her wallet in a restroom and when she returned it was thrown into the trash with money missing.

A man walked out of a gas station to a man reportedly trying to get into his car.

A woman was allegedly heard screaming and slamming things around in a room. All was quiet by the time police arrived and the people they checked on denied it was them, or that they needed assistance.

Someone reported vehicles had been gone through after reviewing camera footage and said there was a vehicle left with all its doors open.

A bunch of painting supplies and other items from a work truck were found dumped in an alley off of East California Street.
