Student takes advantage of soda donor's generosity

A woman told the Columbia Falls Police Department she has a habit of giving out “soda pop” to local children every day. She said “she has a rule that they can have one a day,” but apparently one of the school students “loaded his pockets with soda.” The young drink enthusiast also reportedly ripped a decoration off the woman’s wall and told her “you all better watch your six.”

Someone told the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office she saw an unconscious woman get carried into a trailer and then the caller said he saw a man come out onto the porch of the trailer and urinate. Law enforcement later found out the woman was fine.

Someone saw a “man dressed in all black with a backpack.”

An employee complained about a woman who was improperly parked and sleeping in her vehicle in a business’ parking lot. He apparently asked her to move twice and she agreed but then didn’t move. Eventually a friend of hers came to jump-start and move the car.

A deer was hit by a train in West Glacier.

Someone reported two horses for looking “a little ribbie” to the Sheriff’s Office. He admitted the horses “had hay bellies,” appeared that they had been fed earlier and had water in their trough. A deputy responded and left a notice for the horse owner.

Someone in Whitefish called 911 and said to the dispatcher multiple times “I’m calling 911.”

A driver in Evergreen was reportedly “speeding” and “making bad passes.” The driver eventually stopped and went into an apartment complex.

Someone complained about a vehicle allegedly blocking a road. The Sheriff’s Office reported the disabled car was “well off the road” and was “not a hazard.”

A woman complained about her adult stepson “being loud” in the house.

An older man was apparently “out of control” and insistent about going outside in the snow. He eventually calmed down in his living room.
