Flathead second at Best of West duals

PASCO, Wash. — The Flathead Braves wrestling team placed second out of 32 teams Friday at the Best of the West Duals in Pasco, Wash.

Newberg (Ore.) defeated Flathead 39-32 in the championship match.

Flathead was second last year and first in 2017.

The Braves’ overall dual record is 15-3.

Five Flathead wrestlers went undefeated: Cade Troupe (126), Brendan Barnes (138), Noah Poe-Hatten (152), Tanner Russell (170) and Paxton Boyce (182).

The individual tournament kicks off at 9 a.m. today.
