BOZEMAN – Drew Engellant scored 20 points, six in overtime, and the Glacier Wolfpack nudged past Bozeman 65-61 in a Class AA nonconference boys’ basketball game Friday.

Weston Price hit a 3-pointer and Jaxson Olsen converted a three-point play in the extra period after the Wolfpack (3-1) forged a 52-52 tie at the end of regulation.

Michael Schwarz added 12 points and Olsen finished with 10 for the Pack. Olsen hit two free throws with 10 seconds left in regulation – he rebounded a teammate’s missed free throw and was fouled – to force the overtime.

Price had nine points to go with seven rebounds.

Those efforts helped Glacier withstand 24 points by Bozeman’s Carter Ash. Ash had five 3-pointers.

“The kids really battled; it was really awesome,” Glacier coach Mark Harkins said. “We’ve had some great games with Bozeman. Last year we they kind of got after us a little bit so it’s kind of nice to be competitive with them again.”
