Shots fired in Kalispell neighborhood, one injured

The Kalispell Police Department responded to a shooting just after midnight Saturday morning at a duplex on the 1500 block of Seventh Avenue West. One person sustained a minor injury when multiple rounds were fired into the duplex, but the victim declined medical treatment. Rounds struck nearby residences as well, although one residence sustained most of the damage.

The Kalispell Police Department activated its Major Crime Unit to respond to the shooting. The incident is under investigation and the KPD is still developing leads.
