Woman believes she speaks for the geese
Someone complained to the Kalispell Police Department because a couple’s dog was reportedly “running and bothering all the geese/ducks.” The person also reported the dog was “causing a ruckus.” The complainant told the dog owner she was going to get his license plate number and report him if his dog continued to be an issue. A KPD officer drove through the area and reportedly “did not see [the] suspect vehicle or dog…or any wounded ducks or geese.”
Someone found an abandoned firearm in a store and the KPD picked it up for safekeeping.
A man’s ex-roommate stole his passport, social security card, vehicle title and birth certificate.
A teenager was reported to the police because he had “ingested an item” during class. The suspicious item turned out to be a marijuana edible. The school reportedly punished the student.
A parent was apparently looking for advice because he was worried his son was involved in a scam. His son was evidently part of a group of school students purchasing cell phones, but his father didn’t know where he got the money for the purchase.
A woman found out her license plates had been stolen when her husband went out to check on her truck and found a different set of plates on the vehicle.
A homeowner was upset about a camper parked near his home that he claimed was “blocking the view for turning safely.” He said he didn’t want to go out to check the camper because “it seem[ed] unusual.” The police informed him his complaint was “not enforceable” since the camper was parked on private property.
A man tried to buy items with a fake $100 bill. An employee stopped him from buying the items and kept the fraudulent bill.
A driver believed gas had been siphoned out of his vehicle because he said he had filled the tank up earlier that day and it was already half full when he later got in the vehicle.
A man was seen lying in a road, then trying to ride his bike and then lying on the sidewalk. He said he didn’t need medical attention and was dropped off with his friends.
A man complained about a camper that he felt was suspicious, but he apparently couldn’t provide any reason for why it seemed suspicious other than it was missing a license plate.
A neighbor was worried a mother and daughter were in a physical altercation because she heard “a lot of yelling coming from the apartment” over the course of multiple hours. It turned out the daughter was playing a loud video game and she promised to turn down the volume.
