Columbia Falls teen arrested in connection with Kalispell shooting
Officers arrested a suspect Monday in connection with a late-night shooting that injured one person Dec. 21 in Kalispell.
Kalispell Police Department and Flathead County Sheriff’s tactical teams executed a search warrant Monday at a home on West Cottonwood Drive in Evergreen and arrested 18-year-old Columbia Falls resident Ansen Ingraham.
Ingraham is being held at the Flathead County Detention Center on suspicion of assault with a weapon and three counts of criminal endangerment.
According to a media release from Kalispell Police, multiple people were questioned during the investigation and further search warrants and arrests are anticipated.
Kalispell Police responded to the shooting just after midnight Dec. 21 at a duplex on the 1500 block of Seventh Avenue West in Kalispell. One person sustained a minor injury when multiple rounds were fired into the duplex, but the victim declined medical treatment, police reported. Rounds struck nearby residences as well, although one residence sustained most of the damage.
Kalispell Police activated its Major Crime Unit to respond to the shooting.
