Locking the door may have been helpful

Someone called the Kalispell Police Department after their home had been entered by an unknown person who trashed it and stole items. The caller claimed to have been gone from the residence for less than one-half hour, but hadn’t locked the door.

A person called 911 when his stepdad had choked on food. But he got it out and was fine.

The Columbia Falls Police Department received a phone call from a man who said he was a New York City prosecutor. He said he was investigating a crime in the Big Apple and thought the man he was looking for may have been in the area. A records check showed the man had bought a fishing license in 2018.

A 13-year-old girl said her ex-boyfriend was posting videos on her Instagram page and changing her passwords without her permission.

A man who lost his credit card, identification and driver’s license called to see if any of the documents had been turned in to the department.
