Marion school-bus conversation is concerning

A school employee in Marion told the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office about receiving information from a parent that two students allegedly made comments on the bus where one boy talked about plans to shoot up the school, and the other boy, on how they were going to get the guns.

A school superintendent on Helena Flats Road heard that officers reportedly had weapons drawn down the road as school was about to release and wanted more information.

A Columbia Falls resident told deputies that a neighbor, who they had a temporary restraining order against, was yelling at the sky for God to please kill their family. He was advised to go inside and lock the doors.

A man staying on a Coram property on Seville Lane reported a man hit him with an ice scraper and reportedly threatened to shoot him “if he went to his mom’s.” The caller told deputies he did not wish to report the snow scraper assault or pursue charges. One of the men allegedly was arrested on a warrant for arson.

A passerby spotted three signs that had been spray-painted in Kalispell.

An employee with a package delivery company said a seasonal employee misdelivered a package meant for Lake Five Road. A GPS tracker reportedly confirmed where the package had been delivered, but the West Glacier resident adamantly denied seeing the package or taking it.

A man claiming to be with a hospital called deputies on behalf of a patient who was concerned about not finding someone to care for her cats in Columbia Falls. He was advised that animal control was not a pet-sitting service and the owner would need to locate one of those services, a friend, or family member. He called back to report she found a pet service.

A blue heeler apparently couldn’t resist the temptation of chasing birds on a deer carcass and an Eckelberry Drive resident in Columbia Fall wanted its owners to be apprised of the situation and that the dog needed to stay on its own property.

There were was a snafu in a business parking lot on U.S. 93 that possible caused blocked traffic, where people were screaming over a dog involving its owners, the alleged thieves and people who showed up to buy the dog.

Someone on Conrad Drive told officers their girlfriend reportedly tried to ram her vehicle into theirs while they were trying to drive away. The suspect purportedly had been high for four days.

An Eastman Drive resident in Bigfork was startled by a man banging on their window who allegedly said his car went off the road on Ferndale Drive into a ditch and he was trying to find a friend’s house. The resident said the man seemed intoxicated and was acting strange. They gave him a flashlight and he wandered off.

A man told Columbia Falls Police Department he was concerned after reportedly receiving a strange email stating his account had been hacked and “they found him on a porn site and they wanted $1,000.”
