Cold weather drives man to steal antifreeze

Kalispell Police Department received a report of a man who reportedly grabbed two jugs of antifreeze and took off without paying.

Someone was startled after reportedly hearing multiple thuds around their house. The person wasn’t sure if possibly someone was throwing snowballs at the house, but said their dog was “freaking out” and going up and down the stairs. Police found nothing suspicious.

A man and a woman with a bloody nose were allegedly fighting in a hotel lobby on U.S. 93. The pair reportedly had a disagreement over a cellphone and the woman “blew up” at the man. He supposedly threw her purse at her and it hit her face causing the bloody nose. Both had reportedly “been without dope” for three days and were on edge.

Whitefish Police Department was alerted that someone following a truck on Glacier Airport Road in Kalispell had reportedly been tailgating, weaving, hugging the shoulder of the road, driving into the middle of the road and into oncoming traffic before pulling into an inn on Spokane Avenue.

A mother and her two adult daughters were allegedly heard yelling and stomping around an apartment on Park Avenue. The parties were separated.

A guest on Fairway Drive allegedly stole items from a gift shop and left without paying for their room.

A woman on Columbia Avenue wanted clarity on purportedly confusing parking signs in the area because she wanted to she didn’t want to get a ticket.

Columbia Falls Police Department received a call from a mail delivery driver who saw a possibly intoxicated man not dressed appropriately for the weather and appeared to have fallen down a couple of times wandering on Nucleus Avenue.

A woman on Ninth Street thought it was strange when she saw exterior lights of the second story of a business flashing, but did not hear an audible alarm or see any vehicles in the parking lot.

A man reported a chemical smell coming from a neighbor who made cabinets.
