No. 26008 FAIR-MONT-EGAN SD #3 RESOLUTION OF INTENET TO IMPOSE AN ADJUSTMENT IN LEVIES As an essential part of its budgeting process the Fair-Mont-Egan SD #3 Board of Trustees is authorized by law to impose levies to support its budget. The Fair-Mont-Egan Board of Trustees estimates the following increase/decreases in revenues and mills for the funds noted below for the next school fiscal year beginning July 1st, 2019, using certified taxable valuations from the current school fiscal year as provided to the district. Adult Education Fund. Estimated change in revenues: $20 decrease. Estimated change in Mills: .0074 decrease. Estimated impact on a home of $100,000 is $0.01 decrease and on a home of $200,000 a $0.02 decrease. Transportation Fund. Estimated change in revenues: $1,200 increase. Estimated change in Mills: increase ..444 mills. Estimated impact on a home of $100,000 is $0.60 increase and on a home of $200,000 a $1.20 increase. Tuition Fund. Estimated change in revenues: $554.00 increase. Estimated change in Mills: increase .2049 mills. Estimated impact on a home of $100,000 is $0.28 increase and on a home of $200,000 a $0.55 increase. Building Reserve Fund. Estimated change in revenues: $7,039 increase. Estimated change in Mills: increase 10 mills. Estimated impact on a home of $100,000 is $3.51 increase and on a home of $200,000 a $7.03 increase. Total estimated impact of all permissive fund increase/decreases on a home of $100,000 is $4.38. Total estimated impact of all permissive fund increase/decreases on a home of $200,000 is $8.76. The Tuition fund listed above would be used to offset costs for in-district students with special needs. Regarding the increase in the building reserve levy referenced above, the following are school facility maintenance projects anticipated to be completed at this time are: gym facilities upgrades cited in the 2008 State Facility Needs report, improvements in safety and security within the building, energy efficiency improvements, and facilities and playground repairs to mitigate safety hazards. This notice requirement is an estimate only. None of these budget changes have officially been adopted for the 2019-2020 school year.
