Locals win big in Montana Lottery

Two Flathead Valley residents claimed big cash prizes from the Montana Lottery to start the new year.

Stacey Fedor, of Kalispell, claimed a $10,000 prize on Jan. 4 that was won playing Montana Millionaire. The winning ticket was purchased at Super 1 Foods on First Avenue NE in Kalispell.

Michelle Lapp, of Columbia Falls, claimed a $25,170 prize on Jan. 7 that was won playing Big Sky Bonus. The winning ticket was purchased at Super 1 Foods on U.S. Highway 2 East in Kalispell.

All totaled, the Montana Lottery awarded $815,171 in cash prizes in the first week of the new year, not including the $1 million Montana Millionaire winner who claimed his prize on Jan. 3.

Bill Bonetati, of Missoula, claimed a $100,000 prize on Jan. 2 that was won playing Montana Millionaire. The winning ticket was purchased at the Town Pump in Superior.

Carey Croy, of Ennis, claimed a $10,000 prize on Jan. 3 that was also won on Montana Millionaire. The winning ticket was purchased at The Sportsman’s Lodge in Ennis.

Jaquiline Howery, of Dillon, claimed a $10,000 prize on Jan. 8 that was won playing Montana Millionaire. The winning ticket was purchased at Van’s IGA in Dillon.

Suresh Thomas, of Philadelphia, claimed a $500,000 prize on Jan. 8 that was won on a $500,000 Payout Scratch ticket. The winning ticket was purchased at Travel Centers of America in Laurel.

Anna Fisher, of Billings, claimed a $160,001 prize on Jan. 9 that was won playing Montana Cash. The winning ticket was purchased at Jackpot Heights in Billings.

The Montana Lottery was created by referendum in 1986. Since then, it has paid over $559 million in prizes and returned approximately $249 million to the State of Montana.
