The Columbia Falls Planning Board will hold its second workshop on the forthcoming update of the Columbia Falls growth policy at tonight at City Hall.

The growth policy requires a review of the document at least once every five years to determine if the goals and policies are still relevant or require updating, according to an advisory from the city of Columbia Falls. The growth policy was last updated in 2013.

This workshop will focus on natural resources and growth management, and will provide the public an opportunity to speak about these topics. The growth policy document provides guidance, goals and policies to direct and manage the city’s growth over the next five to 15 years.

Also on tonight’s agenda, the board will be electing a chairman and vice chairman.

The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m.; Columbia Falls City Hall is located at 130 Sixth St. W.
