Bigfork boys blow by Eureka

EUREKA – The Bigfork Vikings got 22 points from Logan Gillard and blew out the Eureka Lions 69-11 in a District 7B boys basketball game Thursday evening.

Bigfork led 47-8 at the half.

The Lions did not score any points in the first and third quarters.

Anders Epperly scored 18 points and Colton Reichenbach scored 13 for Bigfork.

Jake Kindel led the Lions with 7 points.

COLUMBIA FALLS – Browning routed host Columbia Falls to improve to 10-1 overall.

Browning is 6-0 in conference play and led 42-18 after two quarters.

Ethan Running Crane led the Indians with 14 points and Rylee Spoonhunter scored 13.

Dillon Wanner scored 8 points for the Wildcats. Zach Pletcher added 7.

EUREKA – The Eureka Lady Lions cruised to a victory over the Bigfork Valkryies thanks to 17-point performances from Megan Hanson and Sienna Utter.

Eureka improves to 7-2 overall, 4-0 conference.

In addition to her 17 points, Hanson had six steals.

Maggie Graves contributed 12 rebounds, four steals, four blocks and scored 16 points.

Anslie Edgerton led Bigfork with 8 points. Meredith Bedford scored 6.
