BIGFORK — The show must go on, even when it’s raining.

That was the case on the second night of the 2nd annual Bigfork Summer Pro Rodeo on Saturday.

New leaders were crowned in nearly every event but barrel racing and team roping.

Tristan Hansen of Dillon had an 81-point ride in bareback. Friday’s leader Shawn Perkins was bumped into fifth place. In steer wrestling, bulldogger Bart Slaney of Whitefish took over the lead with a time of 5.0 seconds.

Bryce Bott of Victor roped his calf in 9.4 seconds for the No. 1 spot in tie-down roping. Travis Nelson of Broadus beat Friday night’s leader Alan Gobert’s score of 72 by four points in saddle bronc riding.

There was only one qualifying ride in bull riding. Jayde Murphy of Cut Bank earned a score of 83 points.

The rodeo concludes today. Gates open at 3:30 p.m. and rodeo action begins at 5 p.m.
