No. 26353 NOTICE FOR PUBLIC COMMENT REQUEST FOR FLOODPLAIN DEVELOPMENT PERMIT The Flathead County Floodplain Administrator has received the following Floodplain Development Permit application: FDP-19-08 A request by The Flathead Conservation District on behalf of Dale and Tina Barnes to proceed with the Flathead Conservation District's riparian buffer restoration project which includes fill for a cattle crossing, fencing and plantings within the 100-year floodplain of Cow Creek. The applicant proposes approximately 8 cubic yards of fill for a cattle crossing, fencing and plantings in the regulated floodplain of Cow Creek. The application indicates the fill will include approximately 6 cubic yards of 4 inch angular rock and approximately 2 cubic yards of 3/4 to 1 1/2 inch gravel. The project is located at 214 Armory Road and can legally be described as Tract 6BE in NE4SW4 in Section 32, Township 31 North, Range 21 West, P.M.M., Flathead County, Montana. No. 26354 NOTICE OF SALE Department of Natural Resources & Conservation Timber Sale The Foys Lake Fuels Reduction Timber Sale is located within Section 36, T28N-R22W, on the State's Kalispell Unit. Approximately 5,423 tons, consisting primarily of Douglas-fir sawlogs, are offered for sale. Sealed bids will be opened at the Department of Natural Resources & Conservation, 2705 Spurgin Road, Missoula, Montana on August 14, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Bids may be hand delivered or mailed and will be accepted any time prior to the bid opening. DNRC recommends that bidders contact the Trust Land Management Division (406-542-4300) prior to the bid opening to ensure that your bid has been received. Bids must be accompanied by a deposit of $5,634.00, representing 5% of the minimum bid value of the sale in cashier's check, certified check, bank money order or bank draft to be applied to the first sale invoice for the successful bidder. Bid bonds will be accepted and, for the successful bidder, will be closed upon execution of the Timber Sale Contract. The sale will be awarded to the highest responsible bidder. If the successful bidder is unable to execute the contract within 30 calendar days from the date the sale is awarded, the bid deposit will be retained by the Department as liquidated damages. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
