Loser Out

Twins 4, Red Sox 1

The Twins dumped the Bitterroot Red Sox 4-1 in Sunday morning’s loser out contest.

The game was hard-fought and tight. Bitterroot scored one run in the fifth. The Twins tied it up in the sixth when they scored on a Red Sox error.

That’s the way it stayed until the top of the ninth when Jack Price singled on a 1-2 count to score one run. The Twins then added two more for insurance.

Forrest Kobelt was 2-for-4 in that game with a double and an RBI.
