Landlord barges through resident's door

Someone’s landlord allegedly pushed through their barricaded door and so the resident pushed him back out.

The resident told Kalispell Police Department it was reportedly an ongoing issue that the landlord tries to gain entry and they supposedly had video of him entering the residence. The landlord was given a citation.

Officers responded to a phone call from a hotel employee requesting an officer speak to a highly intoxicated man who claimed to have back pain. He was taken to the emergency room, but hospital security reportedly had to remove him from premises. He was later spotted in a parking lot yelling at people and taking off his clothes.

A man claimed someone cut a window screen on his home and he found a broken knife in the area in addition to a jacket and “pieces of blue jeans.”

A woman alleged her husband took her room key, grabbed her hoodie, slammed her into a glass window several times and cornered her. Both parties were intoxicated and police deemed that the argument was verbal only.

A woman calling from Bigfork told police that she got a call from a neighbor concerned that someone was breaking into her home when they allegedly heard dogs barking and saw a light coming from the inside of the home.

Police saw a television inside the home that may have been the light source the neighbor saw. Dogs weren’t heard barking until officers got close to the window and officers were reportedly “pretty sure Cujo wasn’t going to let anyone in the house.” The house was cleared and secured.

A woman alleged her ex put her in a headlock and choked her when she dropped off her daughter.

A man told officers he was being harassed by a woman who claimed he tried to run over her child when he was backing his vehicle “towards the area” where the child was standing. Both parties were counseled.

Someone reported a truck and a camper were parked in front of a hydrant for three days. The vehicle was moved.

A thrift store reported a couple of girls allegedly stole items. They were cited and released.

A Four Mile Drive resident was adamant vehicles be moved that were reportedly parked where they weren’t supposed to during an event.

A woman thought she saw a man and woman who were involved in the theft of her cell phone at a fast food restaurant in Evergreen. She followed them in a vehicle, but lost them.

A woman reported two, possibly all, tires on her vehicle were slashed.

Someone had questions about a man who had been told not to come onto the premises, but supposedly continued to show up and steal food.

Two chickens were seen running in the road and the in front of a neighbor’s home and reportedly had been in the street throughout the week. It was unknown who the chickens belonged to.
