Janette Terwey Neu, 83

Janette Terwey Neu died peacefully surrounded by family in Bigfork on June 10, 2019, the 65th anniversary of her wedding to Donald Neu.

Janette was born on Aug. 9, 1935, to John Terwey and Mary Mertes in St. Joseph, Minnesota. She lived on their family farm until age 16, when she moved to St. Cloud, Minnesota, where she graduated Cathedral High School in 1952.

Janette’s passions were sharing adventures with Don, raising her family, and serving her church and community. She also co-owned and operated LaSalle Nursery and was a receptionist for Wettach Chiropractic, both in Kalispell.

Janette was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald, her parents, and her 11 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her children Gary Neu, Diane Brien, Barbara Dopp, Brad Neu, Bob Neu, Mary Neu, LeeAnn Neu, and Paula Witt, 16 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.

Janette was a devoted Catholic, whose faith has been passed along to the entire family.

A celebration of her life will be at 10 a.m. June 15 at St. John Paul II Catholic Church in Bigfork.
