Six people were sent to the hospital following a three-vehicle crash Saturday morning in South Kalispell.

Kalispell Police Senior Sgt. Alan Bardwell said the accident happened at 11 a.m. on U.S. 93 in front of the Harley Davidson store. According to Bardwell, a woman driving an SUV southbound crossed the center line and collided with a Jeep carry four occupants. A motorcycle following the Jeep also was involved in the crash.

Kalispell Fire, South Kalispell Fire and Evergreen Fire Rescue responded to the scene and transported six people to Kalispell Regional Medical Center. Bardwell said three of the patients had serious injuries.

The accident is under investigation, but alcohol is not believed to be a factor. All passengers were wearing seat belts.

“It was such a horrific crash, some still ended up with significant injuries,” Bardwell said.
