Alice M. Fromm, 81

With heavy hearts we announce the death of Alice M. Fromm, age 81, of Kalispell.

Alice passed away at home, surrounded by family on June 1, 2019.

Alice was born in Great Falls on Aug. 5, 1937.

She married the love of her life, Stephen D. Fromm, on Feb. 12, 1957. Together they spent most of their lives in Montana, and raised four children.

Alice had a great love for family, her roots in Montana, and was a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She was preceded in death by her mother Eunice F. Buffington, father Les Cowie, stepfather Harry H. Gerdsmeyer, and brother George G. Cowie.

She is survived by her husband Stephen D. Fromm, son Scott Fromm, and daughters Marie Fromm, Kathy Ronan and Karen Fromm, eight grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

Mom was cared for at home in her last days by her loving husband and companion with the same loving tenderness and care that she gave to us all during her lifetime.

A small graveside service was held at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery on June 5.

A memorial will be held by the family at a later date.
