Leonard Willis Breezee, 85

Leonard Willis Breezee, 85, of Kalispell, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2019, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

Known as “Len” to his friends and family, he was born to Louis and Annie Breezee in Park Rapids, Minnesota, on April 24, 1934. He spent 10 years driving school bus and working at the Pure Oil Station.

He married Joanne Jasken in 1962 and moved to Kent, Washington, where he worked for the Kent School District for 30 years, as well as being a volunteer fireman all those years. After retirement Len moved to Columbia Falls in 1992 where he did dealer trades for Scarff Auto for years.

Len loved camping and restoring older garden tractors and tinkering in his shop. He was a very social person and truly enjoyed being around people. He enjoyed listening to the Jammers at the Columbia Falls Senior Center.

Len was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Louise, two brothers-in-law, Carl Wettels and Bill Sjolin, and one sister-in-law Lucille Breezee.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Joanne, son Jeffery (Yevgeniya), granddaughter Anastasia, two brothers John (Kristy), and Joe; three sisters, Bonnie (Marvin) Berg, Shirley (Deeane) Markel, and Julia Sjolin, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 28, at Risen Christ Catholic Church.
