Kalispell architectural committee has openings

Those with an interest in the community design and character of the city of Kalispell and have experience in architectural construction, development or design are invited to apply for the city of Kalispell Architectural Review Committee.

This seven-member committee reviews multifamily, commercial and industrial developments within the city. The purpose of the board is to encourage originality, flexibility and innovation in site planning and development in the areas of architecture, landscaping and graphic design.

Recent changes within the city zoning code changed the volunteer committee’s terms from ongoing to specifying four-year staggered terms. Two terms are currently open. Preference for appointment will be given to individuals who are either property owners, residents or actively engaged in business or employment in the city.
