Whitefish foundation accepting grant applications

Whitefish Community Foundation is currently accepting grant applications for the 2019 spring Community Grant Program, which is open to 501(c)(3) nonprofit charities located in Flathead County that are not participating in the 2019 Great Fish Community Challenge.

Applications must be submitted online, and nonprofits may request up to $4,000 in funding for projects or programs. The deadline to apply to the spring cycle is 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 30. Grant awards will be announced June 1.

In 2018, the Whitefish Community Foundation proudly awarded $71,000 to 42 different organizations through the Community Grant Program. The foundation is offering two Community Grant Program cycles this year in addition to the Great Fish Community Challenge Program. A second Community Grant Program cycle will be offered in the fall. The application period will open Sept. 19 and close Oct. 31.
