Loretta 'Lori' Sieler, 63

| May 7, 2019 4:00 AM

Loretta “Lori” Sieler went home to heaven to be with her Savior on May 3, 2019.

Lori was born July 5, 1955, in Whitefish to Douglas C. Duncan and Grace K. Riefstahl. She lived her early years in Columbia Falls and in Smith Valley. At the age of 16 she fell in love with and married Phillip A. Sieler Sr. They were married on June 26, 1972. Their son, Phil Jr., soon arrived and their daughter, Yvonne, a few years later. Lori had what she always wanted — a family. She was a dedicated and faithful wife and mom. While she worked different jobs throughout the years, her favorite and most important job was her home. Once her children were grown she received some of her favorite blessings — her grandchildren. She was a fun grandma and she made many memories with each of them that they will always treasure. Phil Sr. died in August of 2011 and Lori was never the same after losing him, but she held on as long as she could for her kids and her grandchildren. She suffered with Lupus since 1993, and these last years were not easy ones for her, but she gave each of us all that she had. We are at peace knowing that she is in the arms of Jesus and our dad.

She was preceded in death by her mother Grace K. Duncan, her father Douglas C. Duncan, her mother-in-law Ellena M. Edens, her brother Dogy Duncan, and her husband Phillip A. Sieler Sr.

She is survived by her two children, Phillip Sieler Jr. and his wife, Romalie, and Yvonne Schultz and her husband, Todd; eight amazing grandchildren, Jamie Cofer, Jeffery Schultz, Treven Schultz, Tiffany Keck, Todd “Tyler” Schultz Jr., Ellena May Schultz, Felipe Sieler and Cassia Sieler; five great-grandchildren, Sophie, Nathan, Benjamin, Jessie May and Emily; and her sisters, Ginger Sieler, Penny Curtiss and Barb Duncan.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. today, May 7, at Bible Baptist Church in Kalispell.
