Roommate gives an unfriendly send-off

There was a verbal rumble on Trumble Creek Road in Columbia Falls when a woman told Flathead County Sheriff’s Office she was “just trying to load a U-Haul” and her roommate allegedly started harassing her, blocking her path and recording her on video. Although the troublesome roommate was supposed to leave for a couple of hours so she could finish packing, she reportedly returned and was verbally aggressive and threw items at her.

A man in his 50s, who was seen carrying a shovel and accompanied by two dogs, was mistakenly reported as spray painting a bridge going over Ashley Creek. He was supposedly trying to clean the graffiti.

Someone reported their 19-year-old son was allegedly trashing a house on Woodland Drive in Kalispell. Officers determined the incident was verbal only.

A Kalispell school employee told deputies that a school bus driver radioed to them that they almost hit a man who was reportedly not wearing shoes and was walking westbound on Montana 35, weaving in and out of traffic.

Someone on West Valley Drive alleged that a bus driver almost hit another vehicle eastbound on U.S. 2 and drove over the yellow line three times.

A Dogwood Avenue resident in Kalispell told deputies a man “shot out” their vehicle windows with a BB gun as he drove away from the residence after he earlier “tried to start problems” with them over a tablet.

Someone cleaning up the area of a couple of transient camps reportedly found some drugs on U.S. 2.

A woman’s ex showed up at her work and allegedly stole her purse.

Columbia Falls Police Department made contact with a drunk pedestrian on Eighth Street who was left in the care of relatives.

Someone on Third Avenue had no tolerance for three “mischievous” teens hanging out at the park and reportedly climbing a fencing, dugouts and a shed. The person keeping close tabs on the teens called police again to tell them the boys left the area and believed they had been “waiting for some girls in the area.” Police let the caller know they already made contact.
